The WALPOLE NORNALUP SUB CENTRE of the St John Ambulance WA was established by the community in 1956.
Sub centre VOLUNTEERS attend about 60 cases each year that require patient care and an ambulance service, provide a similar number of transports to medical appointments each year through its Community Transport Service, arrange first aid courses, maintain automated external defibrilators and participate in community development activities. Training and professional support is provided by a Community Paramedic based in Denmark.
